A grassroots effort born from the pain felt in Western North Carolina during the events of Hurricane Helene in 2024, we are proud to help communities in need reach the Last Mile during moments of need.
When Hurricane Helene struck Western North Carolina, the devastation was immediate and overwhelming.
In a moment of urgent need, Venture Unknown, a 7,000-member overlanding community, mobilized without hesitation, bringing boots-on-the-ground capability to areas others couldn’t reach.
What began as a Facebook group quickly became a coordinated relief effort. Over the weeks that followed, our volunteers delivered food, water, and critical support to communities cut off and in crisis, using their vehicles, skills, and determination to make a real difference when it mattered most.
This is what happens when adventure meets purpose.
